Changing the way you watch Sky TV just got a lot more affordable

Sky has dropped the price of its Sky Glass TV – making it the cheapest price since the product was first released back in late 2021. That makes this one of the best Sky deals we’ve seen in a while.

The latest discount comes after Sky knocked down the price of its Glass television last year just before Black Friday.

The old offer meant that shoppers who wanted to purchase the Glass TV were able to do so for £13 per month. However, the latest price drop beats that by a huge margin, offering the all-in-one television for just £11 per month.

That’s a whopping £144 discount compared to the standard price.

Sky Glass is packed with everything you need to enjoy the latest boxsets, blockbusters, and sports from Sky TV.

It has a QLED display with a 4K Ultra HD resolution, so you will be able to enjoy Netflix series, live coverage from Sky Sports, and Disney Plus films in the highest quality available. Glass arrives with a built-in Dolby Atmos soundbar and hands-free voice controls (perfect for those who always lose their remote control down the back of the sofa).

If you want to watch the latest exclusive series on Sky TV, including Succession, And Just Like That…, House of the Dragon, The Last Of Us and more, you’ll need to add the £26 Ultimate TV bundle to your contract. This includes a complete subscription to Netflix. For a limited time, the first month is completely free – so you’ll pay just £11 for the brand-new television, 150 live channels, Netflix subscription, and hundreds of on-demand boxsets from Sky, Peacock, and HBO.

TV lovers who want to upgrade their watch experience at home may want to consider the Sky Glass as it doesn’t require a satellite dish on the outside of your home, no need to drill holes and run wires around your living room, or a separate box. Instead, Sky Glass needs a power cable and a Wi-Fi connection. And that’s it.

Sky Glass comes in three sizes; small 43”, medium 55” and large 65″ and five colours; Ocean Blue, Ceramic White, Racing Green, Dusky Pink, or Anthracite Black. The TV also has Ultra HD and Quantum Dot technology producing over 1 billion colours, as well as 360° Dolby Atmos sound with powerful built-in speakers and a sub-woofer.

The minimum internet speed required for Sky Glass is 10Mbps. But your home internet speeds will need to be at least 25Mbps if you want to watch Sky Sports, Sky Cinema or TV shows in ultra HD to be able to take advantage of Sky Glass’s 4K resolution.

To watch from another room, your average internet speed will need to be between 30 and 40Mbps. The average home broadband speed in the UK is roughly 70Mbps, so most people will be able to upgrade without an issue.

If you’re happy with your current television, Sky Stream offers the same experience as Sky Glass – but can be plugged into any High Definition or 4K UHD with an HDMI port. For a limited time, you can watch Sky Stream for free for 30-days.
