Zontes to launch naked sports, cafe racer, 3 other bikes in India

Chinese niche motorcycle brand Zontes on Tuesday said its product line-up for the domestic market will consist of naked sports, sports, cafe racer, tourer, and adventure tourer bikes in the 350cc segment. Established by Guangdong Motorcycle Technology Co in 2003, Zontes announced its entry in the Indian market in collaboration with Hyderabad-based Adishwar Auto earlier this month.

The brand already has its presence in 55 countries, including the UK, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Brazil, Malaysia, and Thailand, among others.

In India, the brand plans to launch an exciting portfolio of five products, with an extensive dealer network across the country, the company had earlier said.

Designed in-house with cutting-edge futuristic technology, the company’s product line-up for the Indian market will consist of 350cc segment bikes consisting of 350R, 350T, 350T ADV, 350X, and GK350 model, Zontes said in a statement.

The product range consist of naked sports, sports, cafe racer, tourer, and adventure tourer.

Since its global expansion in 2017, the Zontes has witnessed significant year-on-year growth and registered a substantial 50 per cent growth in the last 12 months alone, as per the company.

“In a continuous effort to redefine the premium two-wheeler segment, we have associated with Zontes, which is one of the fastest-growing brands in the European market.

“Moreover, it is swiftly taking over the world with its unique futuristic looks and technology. We are certain that the motorcycles will thrill the Indian consumers,” said Vikas Jhabakh, Managing Director of Adishwar Auto Ride India Pvt Ltd.

Zontes has a strategic focus on the advanced research of new technologies for the development of material structure, manufacturing process, precision finishing, intelligent control, safety, and durability, according to the statement.
