Zendaya has shared jaw-dropping footage of Tina Turner performing at 60.

Turner died peacefully on Wednesday following a long illness aged 83.

Taking to Instagram shortly after the news of Turner’s death broke, Zendaya, 26, uploaded a clip of The Best singer running across a suspended stage wearing high heels and without a harness.

Once Turner reached the end of the platform, which hung high above audience members’ heads, she learned towards them while belting out hits and the video makes for incredible viewing.

Filmed when Turner was 60, the video would have been captured in 2000.

Viola Davis also posted the mind-blowing video on social media and captioned her post: ‘The Queen of Rock & Roll.’

After Turner’s death was confirmed, celebrities including Mick Jagger, Gloria Gaynor and Naomi Campbell were among those honouring the late Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

‘From the first day I met her in 1980, she believed in herself completely when few others did at that time.

‘It was a privilege and an honour to have been a close friend as well as her manager for more than 30 years. I will miss her deeply.’

Turner, twice inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, first came to prominence in partnership with Ike Turner, who she also married.

The couple separated after Ike became abusive to Turner, and she went on to experience a huge resurgence in her solo career from the 1980s, going on to become one of the most celebrated singers of all time.
