Zaha leaves Palace in the dark over future as legend’s contract expires in HOURS

Palace have presented the academy graduate with the most expensive deal in the club’s history to try and keep him at Selhurst Park.

Zaha, 30, has been offered a four-year deal at £200,000-a-week to stay in south London.

Despite that lucrative offer, which few others in Europe would match, the Ivory Coast star is still keen to realise his dream of playing in the Champions League.

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have shown an interest, alongside Marseille and AC Milan.

Zaha joined Manchester United from the Eagles in 2013 before returning to Selhurst Park two years later.

He will be out of contract at Palace as of Friday.

Should he decide to leave, the Eagles are considering a move for Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma as a replacement.

Lazio and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with Zaha.

Claims he’d prefer to stay in Europe appear to have been boosted earlier this week.

Zaha teamed up with British rapper Stormzy to buy non-league club Croydon Athletic.

An official statement read: “We are delighted to embark on a new era at AFC Croydon Athletic, subject to final FA and league approval. This has been the culmination of many months of discussions.

“The consortium will own, operate and develop their childhood hometown football club.”
