Zack Snyder Reveals the Cast for His Epic Netflix Exclusive Sci-Fi Project Rebel Moon

After starting off a zombie franchise for Netflix with Army of the Dead, director Zack Snyder has a new sci-fi project for the popular streaming platform in Rebel Moon.

Snyder will be shooting the project later this year, and over the last few months, the director of movies like Man of Steel and Watchmen, has shared several details about the inspiration behind the project’s plot and setting.

Up until recently, not much was revealed about Rebel Moon’s casting except for Sofia Boutella, who will play the movie’s protagonist.

However, after a lot of speculation and waiting, Zack Snyder finally revealed the remaining cast members in a recent tweet along with the project’s concept art to showcase his grand vision for the upcoming sci-fi movie.

Rebel Moon has a stacked cast which includes the likes of Doona Bae, Staz Nair, E. Duffy, Charlotte Maggi, & Sky Yang. Charlie Hunnam, who was last seen in Guy Ritchie’s The Gentleman will also be part of Rebel Moon as well.

Along with that, the movie features some DC alums in Djimon Hounsou and Jena Malone, who played the roles of the Wizard in Shazam and Jenet Klyburn in the Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, respectively.

Finally, Justice League fans also received some tremendous news in the casting of Ray Fisher for his first film role after playing the role of Cyborg in Snyder’s mesmerizing DC team up movie.

The concept art for the movie showcased some of Snyder’s vision for the movie, which first started off as a Star Wars films with a great amount of inspiration taken from Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai, and following the cast’s announcement, fans are quite chuffed to see what the director has in store for them.
