Young star charged over ‘intimate image’ threat
North Melbourne young gun Tarryn Thomas has been charged for “threatening to distribute an intimate image”.
The 22-year-old was also stopped by police for driving with a suspended licence during the Christmas break, the Kangaroos revealed in a statement on Tuesday.
”The club has informed the AFL’s integrity unit and the AFLPA on both matters and the club will continue to work with Thomas regarding behavioural expectations,” the club said.

Thomas – a tall midfielder-forward – had his breakout AFL season in 2019 when he debuted in round two, and kicked 16 goals in 20 games for North Melbourne.
He went to another level again in 2021, but in 2022 went backwards and only managed to play 10 games in the blue and white in what was a dismal year for the club.
Thomas was expected to be a key part of the team this year under new coach Alastair Clarkson.
