You can now sleep with TIGERS at new safari lodges in the Midlands
YOU can now spend the night sleeping with tigers at West Midlands Safari Park.
They’ve opened new ‘tiger lodges,’ following on from the success of their giraffe and rhino lodges.
The four new lodges will allow visitors to sleep just a whisker away from the Sumatran tigers, with views over the tiger enclosure.
Two of the Tiger Lodges will be single-storey and detached, with private terraces featuring sunken hot tubs.
The remaining two lodges will be semi-detached and will span two storeys, offering further views from the first floor.
The detached lodges will sleep up to five guests, with the semi-detached sleeping up to seven.
They will feature open plan living spaces, and floor to ceiling windows that allow guests to get up close to the endangered species.
Safari Lodges short breaks include breakfast and dinner, and admission to the park for two days during the summer season.
Guests can now book via the Safari Lodges website where they can choose dates from September 30, 2022.
Prices start from £790 per night based on two guests.
The white rhino and giraffe lodges opened earlier this year, with the giraffe breaks quickly selling out.
The white rhino lodges are the park’s biggest yet, with a capacity of up to six people.
The ground floor has an open-plan living space, secluded chill out nest which doubles up as a double bed, and a balcony that offers ground-level views of the rhinos.
The upper floor features two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a second balcony which delivers panoramic views of the rhinos and safari.
The giraffe lodges sleep up to five guests, allowing animal lovers to come eye-to-eye with the eight giraffes from the balcony on the upper floor.
You can also stay in a safari lodge in Kent which has views of lions and tigers, with glass windows meaning you can bathe while watching them.
Pippa Middleton’s farm also allows guests to camp on site
