You can now buy a beachside bungalow from House of the Dragon for £1,250,000
A beachside bungalow with spectacular views of an iconic monument featured in HBO’s new House of the Dragon has gone on the market – and offers are already rolling in over £1.25 million.
The lucky buyers can enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views of St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall, which appeared as Driftmark in the Game of Thrones prequel.
Found in the ancient market town of Marazion, the 1970s bungalow has a raised deck terrace for homeowners to enjoy some of the best views Cornwall has to offer.
While the position of the bungalow means it enjoys stunning sunset views, the coastline need not be enjoyed only from indoors.
There’s a private gate in the garden connecting to a pathway that will get you to the beach in less than two minutes.
This makes it a very popular holiday home, but now it’s on the market for a permanent buyer.
The two-bedroom house has an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room, and two bathrooms.
Inside, the design is rustic and in strictly neutral colours – the decision of the interior designer who owns it.
Tom Powell, from Lillicrap Chilcott, said: ‘The views do not get better than this in Cornwall. The county is renowned for its coastline and the south coast is particularly special.
‘This property gets the best of the day’s sunshine and really does have the best views possible, completely uninterrupted and uninterruptable, looking across the bay to St Michael’s Mount.
‘It is an iconic view and has recently featured in the House of the Dragon series.’
There are only two other properties in that area, and the bungalow is closest to the coast: perfect for a beach-loving introvert.
Tom added: ‘There’s a gate onto the pathway and it’s about 75 metres walking to the beach, as close as you’re going to get and then miles and miles of coast path to walk in either direction.
‘It’s an absolutely exquisite presentation, the best use of space and interior design flare in a world-class setting.’
