You can bag last-minute Barbados flights from £245pp this winter
FANCY a cheap flight to a tropical paradise this winter?
Aer Lingus’ seasonal service to the Caribbean has returned with the launch of a new nonstop flight between Manchester and Barbados.
Barbados is a small island country in the Caribbean Sea, and it’s one of the best destinations for winter sun.
Being on most of Brits’ wishlists, Barbados offers endless miles of white sandy beaches, clear skies, an amazing sea and breathtaking views.
The Irish airline now operates direct service three times a week, on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
The one-way ticket deals start from £245pp, including taxes and fees.
On your way to this tropical paradise, you’ll have access to a complimentary in-flight meal and a service that offers movies, tv shows, and games.
The best time to visit Barbados is during the dry season, which falls between December and early April – making these deals even better.
Temperatures will have an average daily high of around 30C, plus plenty of hours of sunshine.
The Aer Lingus chief customer officer, Susanne Carberry, said: “We’re excited to be restarting flights to the Caribbean again this November direct from Manchester, taking advantage of customer demand for winter sun.

“The service, which was introduced just over a year ago, has been successful, leading to the route recommencing this November again.
“Customers can enjoy a warm welcome with Aer Lingus as we continue to attract strong demand for our direct transatlantic service from the UK to Barbados, ideal for those keen to soak up some sun this winter, and we’re looking forward to welcoming sun-seekers onboard.”
You could also holiday on Royal Caribbean’s brand-new Icon of the Seas cruise ship, now on sale from £2,123pp.
We’ve also rounded up the best winter sun holidays in December and January, with deals from £42pp a night.
Alternatively, for a staycation with a twist, you could book a treehouse stay from £17pp a night in 2023.
