The ’90s X-Men leap forward to the Modern Age in a new title from Marvel Comics.

Before X-Men: The Animated Series is revived on Disney+, fans of this iconic X-Men ensemble can pick up X-Men ’92: House of XCII #1 on Wednesday, which marries the work of writer Chris Claremont, artist Jim Lee and the fan-favorite show to the Krakoan Age introduced by writer Jonathan Hickman in House of X and Powers of X. This modern age for mutantkind has included numerous world-shattering moments, quite literally in the case of Mars, which was terraformed by Krakoa’s mutants this past year during the first “Hellfire Gala” event. House of CXII will be a five-issue miniseries written by Steve Foxe with art from Salvador Espin, though how much from the Krakoan Age of mutants will bleed into the classic story that X-Men fans know and love remains to be seen. There will be more for readers to pick up and explore next week though.

Also releasing is Elektra #100, a milestone issue for the character who has been on a different path this past year. Following Matt Murdock/Daredevil’s incarceration in Daredevil, Elektra took up the hero’s mantle in the title’s 25th issue and has been the Woman Without Fear ever since. Not only has she starred in the main ongoing Daredevil series, but she received her own tie-in miniseries — Daredevil: Woman Without Fear — to the recent Devil’s Reign event, which concluded with both Matt and Elektra vowing to “save the world.” According to the solicitation for Elektra #100, the issue will be the “starting point of what is to come.” The issue is written by Ann Nocenti with art from Paulo Siqueria, Ty Templeton and Sid Kotian.

Elektra and the X-Men are joined next week by Wolverine Miles Morales in What If… Miles Morales #2 and new issues for Black Panther, Darth Vader, Captain Carter and more. The full list of releases can be found alphabetically below, covers and solicitations included.
