Shotzi has given WWE fans the first glimpse at her new look and people are absolutely loving it.

The SmackDown superstar recently ditched her trademark green hair and shaved her head as part of her ongoing storyline with Damage CTRL duo Bayley and Iyo Sky.

There was an emotional real life reason for the change too, the 31-year-old wrestler showing solidarity for her sister who has been battling cancer for months now and is facing a hepatectomy, while going through chemotherapy.

‘I love you sister! You are my inspiration,’ she wrote on Instagram last week, while there is a GoFundMe set up to help with treatment.

Over the weekend, WWE held an untelevised live event in Mexico City and Shotzi was in action against Charlotte and the WWE Women’s Champion Asuka in a Triple Threat.

As she came out for the title match, it was the first time fans had seen her since she was shown shaving her locks on screen, although the video at the time didn’t reveal the finished look.

A picture and video – admittedly both pretty grainy – have surfaced on social media, and it’s safe to say fans are loving her dramatic change in style.

Because Twitter is Twitter, some trolls have weighed in with cruel comments, but the overwhelming majority have been kind and pointed out how much she suits the new look.

‘Any look would likely suit her, this is good,’ tweeted one fan, while another added: ‘I rock with it ????’

A third person wrote: ‘Her reasoning for doing this is heartfelt and noble of her. And she still looks great! ❤️’

‘Hell yeah. She looks good,’ someone else said, and yet another fan praised: ‘She looks good and tough!!????????’

Shotzi has been showing off a new edge to her character as she terrorises Bayley and Iyo after weeks of torment at the hands of the duo, and a different person added: ‘SHE LOOKS GREAT. im so ready for this new Shotzi (sic)’

WWE SmackDown airs Friday nights at 1am on TNT Sports 1.
