Liv Morgan paid tribute to Britney Spears with her ring gear at Elimination Chamber.
The WWE superstar – who has opened up in the past about her love for the Toxic hitmaker – stunned in an all-red ensemble which had fans around the world remembering one of the pop star’s iconic looks.
The full bodysuit – a modified version of one Liv has worn in the past – bore more than a passing resemblance to Britney’s ensemble in the Oops, I Did It Again music video.
Everyone was feeling nostalgic with plenty of Liv’s fans and fellow stars taking to social media to point out the similarities.
Queen Zelina Vega tweeted: ‘Ok miss @YaOnlyLivvOnce .. Britney would be proud. Still don’t like you but.. you did that. (sic)’
One wise fan quipped: ‘If Britney Spears doesn’t make a run in to help Liv Morgan then what are we even doing here?’
And responding to a tweet from Carmella about Britney influence, Big E wrote: ‘My very first thought.’
It’s not the first time Liv has gone with a similar outfit, and she discussed her Britney fandom late last year.
Speaking to Complex following the end of the pop star’s 13-year conservatorship, she said: ‘I was a huge Britney fan growing up. I had everything: posters, bedsheets, all her albums.
‘I had her concerts on tape and I just watched her concert back-to-back. I loved Britney, and I’m so happy that she finally gets to live life on her terms, the way that she wants.’
Sadly, the outfit wasn’t enough to inspire Liv to victory, as she was eliminated during a stacked match featuring Doudrop, Nikki A.S.H., Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss and eventual winner Bianca Belair.
The bout was the second of the night, with the opening contest seeing Roman Reigns defeat Goldberg to retain the Universal Title.
