WWE Night of Champions: Jimmy Uso turns on Roman Reigns as Bloodline crumbles
Jimmy Uso finally snapped at WWE Night of Champions and Roman Reigns will be absolutely lived.
The Bloodline is crumbling after the Tribal Chief and Solo Sikoa lost to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in an historic main event in Saudi Arabia, and Roman’s cousins The Usos – Solo’s own brothers – played a major role.
Sami and KO delivered absolutely magic in the ring as their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title run faced a ridiculously tough test, but they stayed strong.
It looked like Roman and Solo might actually capture the gold towards the end, when Jimmy and Jey Uso hopped the barrier and started attacking Owens at ringside, tipping the announce table onto his limp body.
The referee was down with a replacement nowhere to be seen, but thankfully for Sami he ducked the Usos’ attempt at a Superkick, leading to them taking out their own younger brother instead.
Roman got to his feet just in time to see the accidental kick, and got in the ring to angrily confront the pair, shoving them both in the face as he berated them for their actions.
After a moment’s pause, Jimmy laid out the Tribal Chief with a Superkick heard around the world, rocking the world champion and sending him to his knees.
Another one put the exclamation mark on proceedings, but Jimmy smartly pulled Jey away from Roman, not wanting to risk his wrath any more on the night.
Back to the match, with the Head of the Table down on the outside, it was left to Solo to face Sami and KO, and it’s safe to say it didn’t go well for him as the epic match reached its climax.
A Stunner from Owens saw the Enforcer backed into the corner, leaving him prone to a match-winning Helluva Kick from Sami.
As a Muslim man of Syrian descent, it clearly meant the world to Sami to not only be main eventing a Saudi Arabia event for the first time, but winning after getting such an incredible ovation from the fans.
