What can you expect from WWE Money In The Bank? Predictions for the show, briefcase winners and more
As we said earlier, Money In The Bank hinges on its namesake matches, with both the men and women’s versions sure to deliver high risk action with high stakes.
Across women’s field, everyone involved should have a chance to shine, and there’s a genuine change of a number of stars walking out the winner with Asuka, Lacey Evans and Becky Lynch among the favourites.
However, don’t discount Liv Morgan, who deserves her moment in the spotlight, while Shotzi would be a fantastic choice if WWE decides to take the surprise route.
There’s also the possibility of a shock entrant with just seven superstars announced so far – so could a returning Bayley make her presence felt?
The men’s match is similarly tough to call, with Seth Freakin’ Rollins and Sami Zayn providing thrilling options due to their connection to Roman Reigns, while Drew McIntyre wouldn’t be a surprise given his goal of main eventing Clash At The Castle in Cardiff on September 3.
Madcap Moss is a late entrant to the match after SmackDown, and could be a dark horse to win.
In terms of the title matches, it feels too soon for The Usos to lose their gold just yet, while Ronda Rousey and Bianca Belair are almost certain to retain their championships – but all three bouts are sure to deliver.
There’s a potential for a new US Champ if WWE decides to take Theory in a new direction, and Bobby Lashley is fully deserving of a run if they do go that route.
