A US woman has said her life is made harder because of the fact that she’s beautiful, describing it as “tiresome and lonely”.

Ariana, from the US, says that girls exclude her and hurt her feelings because they are so jealous of her good looks.
Taking to her TikTok platform, where she posts under the domain @arianasavannah, she said she was afraid to make the video in case she got “attacked”.
Applying her makeup she said: “So there‘s a topic I really want to talk about, and I wanna talk about it often but I have a hard time doing it because I know I’m going to get attacked.”
“It goes along with pretty privilege. Obviously, pretty privilege is a thing, we know this, we know there‘s a lot of pros to that.”
Ariana goes on to explain that there is also a downside to being good looking, that nobody talks about, but she wants to share her “experience as a woman”.
“As I said, this topic is very difficult to talk about, because if you know you know, and if you don‘t know, you’re probably going to attack me, my personality, which I am expecting,” she said.
“This is why I don‘t talk about it often.”
The TikTok user goes on to explain that she has never had many friends that are girls since she was in school and always wondered why.
“College was really the hardest point for me. Girls will always be like oh my gosh, I love you so much, you‘re so gorgeous, we’re gonna hang out,” she said.
“The time comes around and I always am left out, and talked about poorly behind my back, and it never makes sense because I am always being so kind and genuine.”
Ariana is confident that it was not her personality that was causing girls to dislike her, but still questioned herself and said she would come to her family upset wondering what she did wrong.
“I was super outgoing, especially around girls, and loved empowering women and just being a b**ch, you know we love being b**ches, in a good way,” she said.
“So I would come home from college on the weekends because I had nothing to do and I would cry to my mum.”
She said that her mum and other family members would tell her the problem was obvious and said that it was her good looks that were to blame for her being excluded.
“They were like Ari, people don‘t like to not be the prettiest person in the room, and I’m like what are you talking about? Because that’s not something I think about,” said Ariana.
Adding: “B**ches are all pretty, I love women, everyone is a bad b**ch in their own way and they said I intimidate people are making them uncomfortable.”
Insulted, Ariana said she is so nice to the other girls, and she was so confused to hear this family feedback.
Ending the video that has been viewed 2.6 million times she said: “If you know me, you know I don‘t carry myself that way, I was so confused and thought this probably is not true, my whole life that this is the reason I can’t make girlfriends.”
In the sequel to her video, she said that she felt her family’s reason didn’t make sense as she is very insecure about her appearance.
“Everyone who is close to me knows I cry once a month about how I think I‘m ugly,” she said.
“It was really hard going back to college. I don‘t know if you have ever lived in a dorm but having no friends f***ing blows.”
Eventually, Ariana found a bunch of guys who became her best friends but she says that she sees the pattern happening often in her life.
“I have a narrative in the back of my mind now but I don‘t want to believe it because I think women are such beautiful creatures and have so much to offer individually, plus I don’t want to feel like I’m in competition with anyone ever,” she said.
“Just the way people think I am, and people think all these things of me when they have no idea just based on the way that I look, honestly, it gets tiresome and it gets lonely.”
She signs off by saying that people think pretty people are the ones living it up but really they are the loneliest people.
Her post, viewed over 351,000 times on TikTok, has received an influx of comments.
“So relatable. Girls don‘t want to be friends because they see you as a threat and guys can’t be true friends with you because they start liking you as something more,” commented one person.
Another TikTok user said: “As one of the non-pretty girls, I can tell you that it is simply because they are jealous. It may sound cliche but it is true.”
“This is so true. I don‘t have any friends and it does get SO lonely,” commented a third.
