Kitten Kay Sera revealed fans would be able to find out more about her ‘very interesting life story’ in an upcoming documentary titled Pinkiest, during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning.
The West Hollywood native formally tied the knot to the colour pink – after ‘dating it for 40 years’.
The 57-year-old, originally from Houston, Texas, is known as the ‘pinkest person in the world’, and says she initially fell in love with the traditionally feminine shade on her 20th birthday.
Speaking on Friday’s episode of This Morning, she left hosts Dermot O’Leary and Josie Gibson perplexed as she revealed the moment she knew she wanted to wear the colour forever.
Recalling the night, she said: ’I just had on all pink, wasn’t like a high fashion outfit… it was on my birthday, this feels right.
‘I went home and gave everything that wasn’t pink away – I have four sisters – and in that year I transformed my wardrobe,’ she explained.
The hosts quizzed her on all sorts, from whether she was allowed to flirt with other colours, to how her wedding service worked.
But when Josie asked what her friends and family thought of the What do your friends and family think of it?
Luckily, she responded: ‘I have very supportive friends who love me, I always think, would you hang out with someone who didn’t love and accept you the way you are?
‘You can choose your friends but you can’t choose your family,’ she noted, before going on to share details of her upcoming programme.
Kitten continued: ’My family is the most loving and supportive of all, and I’m doing a documentary called Pinkest!
‘That’s another reason why I wanted to film the whole wedding, I think my life story’s pretty fascinating.
Josie remarked: ‘I don’t think there’s a person in the world who wouldn’t love you, aren’t you great!’
She also shared on This Morning how she got her fans involved in her wedding: ‘I had all my Instagram followers help me ‘pink out’ my wedding dress, cupcakes… they did it, they helped me all.
‘They were all a part of it, was just a lot of fun, life is too short not to have a laugh.’
Kitten even swapped the Bible out for her fashion bible, a copy of Vogue.
The bride previously shared snaps of her big day on Instagram, including of a wedding cake topped with a pink swan and pictures alongside her bridesmen.
She wrote: ‘A very special thank you to @bigsugarbakeshop WOW!!!
‘My wedding cake & cupcakes were fantastic!’ she added. ‘I am so honored to have you featured at the biggest day of my life!’
