Woman reveals how to take extra bag onto Ryanair flights without paying for it
A WOMAN has divided opinions online after she filmed herself sneaking extra bags onto a flight.
Passengers frequently come up with methods to get around airlines’ strict hand luggage requirements.
Known only as missb_2 on TikTok, the woman revealed how she hid an extra bag when boarding a Ryanair flight.
At the boarding gate, the woman filmed herself putting a small rucksack on her back.
She then wore a green parka coat over the top of her rucksack before layering another backpack over the top.
In a caption over the video, she hailed her sneaky hack as a win but not everyone was convinced.
The video has had more than 2.9 million views and hundreds of comments.
One person wrote: “Yes, I’ve hidden my handbag under my coat.”
Other users were also quick to note that they’d been successful with the hack too, but many other users weren’t impressed.
Someone said: “I know everyone thinks this is great and all, but there are luggage weight limits for a reason.”
Another user added: “It worked and although Ryanair is crazy with their rules if everyone did this there’d be no room.”
Several airline staff also commented saying they’d be sure to check under passengers’ coats for extra bags in the future.
This isn’t the first time a passenger has used a coat to hide extra bags from airline staff.
One person was accused of being “rude” and “unacceptable” after she was captured hiding several extra bags as she was getting ready to board the plane.
Her method was very simple – she stacked the extra bags on top of her suitcase, with the handle pulled up.
She then draped her coat over the handle, with the secret bags concealed inside.
While the person who filmed her, Kyle Mark (@bykylemark) was very impressed with what he had seen, others weren’t convinced.
