Woman joins OnlyFans in bid to buy soccer team for $28 million
Playboy model Daniella Chavez has turned to OnlyFans to raise funds in hopes of purchasing a soccer team, she recently revealed on Twitter.
The Chilean club, which is based in Rancagua, currently plays in the Campeonato Nacional league, the NY Post reported.
Chavez, who is a Chilean-born model, tweeted last week that she had already raised $US5 million ($A7 million) toward her “goal” of purchasing the O’Higgins FC team.
“I found out that O’Higgins is for sale and I started a campaign to raise the nearly $US20 million ($A28 million),” Chavez previously told Chilean radio station ADN, according to The Sun. “That’s why I created this account, with more Playboy content so that fans can help raise the money.”
Chavez also vowed to raffle off “VIP gifts” to fans who promote her OnlyFans site on social media.
Recently, Chavez has allegedly accused O’Higgins FC’s owner, Ricardo Abumohor, of discrimination in her attempt to acquire the team, according to Redgol.com.
Despite the apparent pushback, Chavez has continued to promote her OnlyFans campaign.
Beyond OnlyFans, Chavez is popular on multiple social media platforms and boasts over 16 million Instagram followers. Prior to the attempt to purchase O’Higgins FC, Chavez invested in the Chilean Rancagua Sur Sports Club.
