Woman in critical condition after being hit by car in Ealing

A 31-year-old woman is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Ealing. The pedestrian had been walking on Lady Margaret Road in Southall on Wednesday, May 25 when she was hit by a car.

Police were called to the scene, close to the junction with Shackleton Road, at about 12.15pm to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian. Officers attended the scene along with the London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and London’s Air Ambulance.

The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition. Her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.

The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their ongoing investigation. There has currently been no arrest.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating the circumstances. They are particularly keen to hear from any witnesses who saw the collision, or captured it on dash cam.
