Marvel Comics provides CBR with an exclusive look at X Deaths of Wolverine #4 and X Lives of Wolverine #4, which tease a connection between Logan and a Venom-like symbiote.
Marvel Comics has provided CBR with previews of X Lives of Wolverine #4 and X Deaths of Wolverine #4, the former of which teases a connection between Logan and a Venom-like symbiote.
The preview of X Lives of Wolverine #4, which is by Benjamin Percy, Joshua Cassara, Federico Vicentini and Frank Martin, flashes back to the Weapon X facility and sees a look in Wolverine’s blood revealing a parasite that looks suspiciously like the Venom symbiote. At this time, it’s not actually confirmed what connection, if any, this parasite might have to the Marvel Universe’s symbiotes.
Also by Percy and Vicentini, X Deaths of Wolverine #4 was colored by Dijjo Lima. The preview takes place in the future and sees Wolverine working with Forge to get the former back to his own time. However, they’re revealed to be under duress from an unseen foe. This version of Logan is presumably the same one that fought against Laura Kinney/X-23/Wolverine, Daken and Gabby Kinney/Scout in X Deaths of Wolverine #3.
X Deaths of Wolverine is interconnected with X Lives of Wolverine, much like House of X and Powers of X. Together, the books signify the start of the Second Krakoan Age. X Lives of Wolverine has mainly focused on Logan going back in time to save Charles Xavier/Professor X’s life from a mysterious threat. In contrast, X Lives of Wolverine has mainly looked at Moira MacTaggert has been running for her life from Raven Darkhölme/Mystique and a mysterious version of the title character.
