Will Kirk shares beautiful holiday snaps with wife before becoming a dad

The Repair Shop’s fan favourite Will Kirk has jetted off on holiday with his doctor wife Polly. The couple recently announced that they were expecting a child together, with Will becoming a first time dad, so as many can expect- the pair appear to be pencilling in as much quality time before their hands are full.

The much-loved furniture restorer and TV star from Wandsworth, London, took to Instagram to share snaps from the holiday simply captioning it with: “Final holiday before 2 become 3.” Will, 37, soon received a number of messages from fans in awe of the beautiful scenery.

One fan said: “Looks so gorgeous! Hope you are having the best time.” Another added: “Fantastic! Best wishes to you – becoming parents is an adventure and the best job there is.” Whilst a third chimed: “Enjoy your holiday and look forward to seeing pics of baby when it arrives!!!!”

Will, who first joined the BBC repair show in 2014, shared the happy news about his personal life back in March 2022, saying he and his wife are expecting their first-born child this Summer. The proud dad-to-be posted a snap on Instagram as he looked beamed and told fans that they are “excited” for the new arrival.

Sharing the picture of him wearing a cream knit jumper and grinning from ear to ear, Will wrote: “A new mug to add to my collection this summer. We are so excited for our new little arrival and to extend our family.”

Will and Polly married in August 2021 in a beautiful ceremony and he usually keeps his personal life private except for a rare glimpse of the pair on their wedding day. His wife wore a flowing bridal gown with lace sleeves, leaving fans absolutely floored.

The pair planned to marry before than, but sadly their ambition was halted because of the coronavirus pandemic, that meant that they couldn’t hold their wedding ceremony. While sharing his experience of lockdown he said: “I’ve been putting up lots of shelves, the lovely fiancée has been keeping me very busy!

“We were supposed to be getting married in August and unfortunately that didn’t happen, so we’re going to get married next year. Yes, I’ve been kept busy!”
