Why you need to trade in your Tesco Clubcard points before Wednesday
But Tesco Clubcard owners only have until Wednesday to trade in any points they’ve built up, in order to get the most back from their spending.
Earlier this year, the supermarket giant announced it would be switching up its scheme.
At the moment, Clubcard customers can triple the value of points when they spend at one of more than 100 ‘Reward Partners’ which includes Pizza Express, Disney+ and Hotels.com.
However, the new change – coming into effect this week – will see shoppers only able to double their points, rather than triple them, meaning that they will get less for their money.
Tuesday June 13 is the last day Tesco shoppers can take advantage of the triple-value rewards.
So, for example, a £5 voucher that was worth £15 with a Reward Partner on Tuesday will be worth just £10 by Wednesday.
Even money expert Martin Lewis is urging people to make the most of it. He took to Twitter on Friday to remind shoppers of the change.
It’s worth pointing out that Tesco has more than 100 Reward Partners to choose from when it comes to spending your Clubcard vouchers.
These include tickets to likes of Thorpe Park, Legoland and Chessington World of Adventures as well as dining out options such as Hungry Horse pubs, Pizza Express, Bella Italia, Prezzo and Zizzi. Not to mention a range of travel and holiday options like National Express, Railcards, P&O Cruises, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Butlins.
