Why Prime Minister Justin Trudeau came out to celebrate Netflix
Tudum! Netflix executives, dozens of Canadian entertainment luminaries and other VIPs were on hand in Toronto on April 4, to celebrate the opening of the Netflix Canada headquarters in the heart of downtown Toronto. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau welcomed Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, while guests including Robbie Amell, Jay Baruchel, Sarah Chalke, Elisha Cuthbert, Nina Dobrev, Jason Priestley and Eric McCormack mingled at the Well, on Spadina Avenue, which also happens to be the home of the Toronto Star.
