Who is Prince Radovid in The Witcher season 3 and who plays him?
Among them is Mamma Mia, Fleabag and W1A star Hugh Skinner, who is playing bon vivant Prince Radovid.
While Hugh hadn’t watched the juggernaut fantasy series prior to signing on the dotted line, he previously told Metro.co.uk what drew him to the role.
‘I love an outsider. Part of the draw with The Witcher was to play a gay character in a big genre fantasy show with a big audience. It felt like a unique opportunity and one I couldn’t really say no to,’ he explained.

Who is Prince Radovid in The Witcher?
Prince Radovid strikes up an electric connection with everyone’s favourite bard Jaskier (Joey Batey), while becoming embroiled in the drama surrounding the lead characters.
Hugh spoke to Metro.co.uk before the launch of The Witcher and shed more light on his character.
The actor explained: ‘He’s the younger brother of King Vizimir, the King of Redania, and he’s a bit lost. He doesn’t really have any purpose.
‘He drinks a lot and he gets embroiled with Philippa and Dijkstra, the Redanian in spies. He enjoys meeting Jaskier and is quite bewitched by him,’ he stated, stressing that Radovid finds himself a little bit ‘out of his depth’.
Who plays him?
The 38-year-old actor has been steadily performing in film, TV and on stage since he graduated from drama school LAMDA in 2006.
His first major TV role was in BBC parody comedy W1A in which he played Will Humphries, an inept yet endearing intern at the Line of Duty broadcaster.
Also on the small-screen London-born Hugh played Prince William in The Windsors, a spoof of the royal family, and had a small role in Fleabag, playing Phoebe Waller Bridge’s hapless boyfriend.
Over in Hollywood, Hugh bagged a role in the sequel to Mamma Mia! played a version of Colin Firth’s character in the first film and was also in the Anne Hathaway-starring Les Misérables.
The Witcher season 3 volume 1 is available to stream on Netflix, with volume 2 being released on Thursday July 27.
