White chocolate Creme Eggs have been spotted back on shelves

It looks like 2022 is fast-becoming the year of the chocolate comeback.

Recently, we’ve seen Quality Street bring back a previously discontinued option: the Honeycomb Crunch.

But now there’s another sweet treat that’s back on shelves – thanks to Cadbury.

White chocolate Creme Eggs are now available to buy again – and you don’t have to wait until Easter to get them.

They were last seen in 2019, as part of a competition where they were hiding inside normal Creme Egg wrappers – with the chance to win £1,000 if you found one.

The white chocolate Creme Eggs can be found in selection boxes in Farmfoods, alongside caramel and regular options in the pack.

Foodie account NewFoodsUK broke the news of the return earlier this week, with an Instagram post saying: ‘New Cadbury White Chocolate Creme Egg. You can now get these in this multipack at Farmfoods.

‘They’re so good, hats off to Cadburys for releasing these.’

While another shopper posted in a popular shopping deals Facebook group to say that she’s found the delicious white eggs on sale at her local B&M for 49p each.

It’s safe to say these white chocolate eggs have arrived just in time for Christmas – alongside other treats such as the Bounty-free Celebrations tubs.

Although, Twirls fans will be disappointed to hear a switch-up to Heroes tubs this Christmas, as the mini versions have been replaced by larger chocolates – due to supply shortages.
