The FA Cup resumes this week with the fifth round of the competition.

Four fifth round ties will take place this evening (Tuesday, February 28), while the remaining fixtures will be played tomorrow night.

This is the first time this season that an entire round of FA Cup action will be played exclusively across a midweek, with only replays having taken place during the week up until now.

And with a number of heavy hitters still remaining in the tournament, along with several lower league underdogs, it is expected that millions of fans will once again tune in to watch the FA Cup action.

Here is a run through of the FA Cup fifth round ties that will be shown live on TV over the next few days.

Which FA Cup games are on TV this week?

Six FA Cup fifth round ties have been selected for live TV coverage across BBC and ITV.

Stoke vs Brighton will kick-off the fifth round live on ITV4 tonight at 7.15pm.

The all Premier League clash between Fulham and Leeds will start 30 minutes later at 7.45pm – live on BBC One.

Manchester City’s trip to Ashton Gate to face Championship side Bristol City will round off Tuesday’s TV offering on ITV 1 at 8pm.

Wednesday’s action begins with Southampton hosting Grimsby – the lowest team left in this season’s competition – on ITV 4 at 7.15pm.

ITV1 will be the place to be to watch arguably the tie of the round, Manchester United vs West Ham, kick-off at 7.45pm.

Alternatively, fans will be able to watch Championship high-flyers Sheffield United host Tottenham on BBC One at 7.55pm.

Instead of a replay, extra-time and if necessary, penalties, will be used to determine the winner if a tie finishes all square after normal time.
