The Algarve, Madeira, and the Azores are three Portuguese destinations that should be at the top of your list if you’re after autumn sun.

Madeira is a small island on the green list that’s close to the Canaries and is great for sunbathing and is known for its walking trails and botanical gardens.

The Algarve is always a popular choice for Brits, and even outside of the peak summer months, there are lots of visitors and festivals still going on. In November, you can expect high temperatures between 20 and 25ºC.

Morocco

November is a great month to visit Morocco because the temperatures are a lot more pleasant than during the summer, as the heat can become too much.

Expect highs of 23 to 28°C, which are perfect for exploring the souks and picturesque streets or for stopping off at a rooftop cafe.
