Spain
Average temperature 25C
Mainland Spain tends to have a lower temperature of around 22C, while the Balearics and Canary Islands will have an average of 25C.
Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Costa del Sol are some of the most popular destinations and also great value for money.
There are fewer crowds in May, so you won’t have to worry about long queues or busy beaches, while all the shops, restaurants and attractions are open.
