Where Is Xur Today? (June 9-13) Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide
It might be a weekend for video game reveals and new trailers, but not even the mightiest showcase can stop Xur from landing and offering some fine Exotic gear from his inventory. As usual, the mysterious Agent of the Nine is back and ready to outfit you for the challenges that lie ahead, like Nightfall strikes, raids, and this week’s Trials of Osiris. Here’s where you can find Xur this week and what the Agent of the Nine has for sale.
This week you can find Xur on Nessus, in the Watcher’s Grave area. For his weapon, Xur is offering Graviton Lance. Hunters can pick up Orpheus Rig leg armor; Titans can grab the Crest of Alpha Lupi armor; and Warlocks can buy Claws of Ahamkara.
Xur Location
Head to Nessus and use the Watcher’s Grave transmat zone to find Xur this week. When you arrive, hop on your sparrow and head north toward the exit of the area. Look for a big tree with pink moss on the right side of the area. Climb up onto its big, flat branch, where you can reach Xur.

Exotic Armor
Orpheus Rig (Hunter leg armor)
For the Hunter who favors their Void subclass, Orpheus Rig is a great Exotic to have equipped. The Uncanny Arrows perk provides ability energy for each target tethered by Deadfall anchors when using your Void Super, and the Moebius Quiver has an additional shot. As for stats, this Exotic has a fairly even spread across all of the categories, with more mobility at the cost of resilience, while intellect has a slightly higher number in this breakdown.
- Mobility: 13
- Resilience: 10
- Recovery: 10
- Discipline: 9
- Intellect: 12
- Strength: 9
- Total: 63
Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan chest armor)
Not just a majestic chest armor piece, Crest of Alpha Lupi generates an additional Orb of Power from Supers and a healing pulse when Barricade is activated. That makes it ideal for high-level activities and PvP when you’re looking to focus on survivability, with this roll of the Exotic having decent resilience and mobility stats. Discipline has the highest number by a wide margin here, which will help reduce your grenade ability cooldown, although strength, recovery, and intellect are quite low.
- Mobility: 16
- Resilience: 11
- Recovery: 7
- Discipline: 20
- Intellect: 6
- Strength: 7
- Total: 67
Claws of Ahamkara (Warlock gauntlets)
Depending on how you use it, Claws of Ahamkara has some devastating potential. Its main perk, The Whispers, grants an additional melee charge, and charged melee final blows spawn an Orb of Power. Recharging melee energy is relatively simple with the right armor mods, and quickly unleashing a one-two punch of your close-range ability can help clinch a close-quarters victory in PvP. For the stats, this Exotic has moderate recovery and resilience, which is great for keeping you alive for longer, and high strength to take advantage of your melee abilities. This does come at a cost, as intellect and discipline are quite low.
- Mobility: 10
- Resilience: 12
- Recovery: 13
- Discipline: 9
- Intellect: 7
- Strength: 14
- Total: 65
Exotic Weapons
Graviton Lance
One of the coolest weapons in the Destiny 2 arsenal that dates back all the way to the game’s first year, Graviton Lance is a good-looking two-shot pulse rifle with an even better sound. It recently got updated alongside dozens of other Exotic weapons in Destiny 2, and it now has an adjusted damage output. It’s still worth getting in 2023, as its Exotic catalyst is excellent for quickly clearing the room of enemies.
- Black Hole
- Hammer-Forged Rifling
- Accurized Rounds
- Cosmology
- Fitted Stock
Hawkmoon
Killing Wind grants you increased mobility, weapon range, and handling after a final blow with this week’s roll of Hawkmoon, which makes this week’s version fairly decent for PvP. There are better perks available, but Killing Wind has utility in the Crucible in case you want to bring a hand cannon to a fight.
- Paracausal Shot
- Fluted Barrel
- Alloy Magazine
- Killing Wind
- Combat Grip
Dead Man’s Tale
This week’s roll of Dead Man’s Tale is more suited for PvE, as the Fourth Time’s the Charm perk on this version makes it great for picking off red-bar enemies. Rapidly landing precision hits will return two rounds to the magazine, so you can keep on firing with this stable build for longer.
- Cranial Spike
- Smallbore
- Fourth Time’s the Charm
- Hand-Laid Stock

Xur also offers the Xenology quest every week, which requires you to complete 21 Vanguard strikes or win Crucible and Gambit matches so that you can earn an Exotic Cipher. These are normally used to buy old Exotics from a kiosk in the Tower, but from this season, you’ll be able to spend them at Master Rahool to get the Exotics that you want. The cap on Exotic Ciphers has also increased, as you’ll now be able to hold up to five of them at a time.
Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
