‘What is wrong with you?!’ Piers Morgan slammed for querying Adele’s talent in fresh swipe

Adele performed a string of her best hits for the ITV show in front of a star-studded audience and answered some questions from some of her celebrity friends. During the concert, Piers Morgan took to Twitter to share his thoughts.

The 56-year-old shared a picture of the singer and wrote: “If I was at this #AnAudienceWithAdele, I’d ask her two questions…

“1) Does the unctuous sycophancy from your celebrity fans make you want to vomit?

“2) How come you’re singing more perfectly ‘live’ than on your records?”

He went on to write: “This probably explains why I wasn’t invited.”

Invest2021 penned: “Mate she is a British treasure come on now!”

Piers followed up his post, writing: “Minor irritations aside, there’s no doubt that @Adele is the best singer in the world right now & right up there with Barbra & Whitney as possessor of the best set of pipes in pop history. Just a shame she’s a Spurs fan. #AnAudienceWithAdele.”

During the show, a host of celebrities from the audience asked the popstar questions.

Stromzy asked if she ever worried about meeting her idols.

The singer said she wouldn’t be able to contain her excitement if she met Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

She went on to say she burst into tears when she met Stevie Nicks, as she’s a “huge fan” of Fleetwood Mac.

It’s not the first time Piers has taken a swipe at the Easy On Me hitmaker.

In his latest column, the former Good Morning Britain accused Adele of behaving like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who also live in Los Angeles.
