SNAPCHAT is a popular social media site that allows users to send pictures and messages back and forth that are only available for a short time.

In order to send this content, users must add their friends and Snapchat has made it easier than ever to do so.

What is quick add on Snapchat?

When users open the Snapchat app, they are greeted with an icon in the top right corner that has an outline of a person and a plus sign next to it.

If you click on that icon, a “quick add” section comes up with a number of different users.

The section is meant for users to find friends easily from both contacts and mutual friends.

If a user knows one of the users listed, they can simply hit the add button next to their name to send a friend request instantly.

This feature often eliminates having to scan a user’s Snapcode or search by username.

What is a Snapcode?

While some users might pop up in the quick add section, there are some times when that doesn’t happen.

In the event that you have a harder time finding someone on Snapchat, the app has launched a Snapcode feature to make it easier.

When you open the app, users can click their profile and it will pull up a yellow square with multiple circles in it.

If another user scans the square within the Snapchat app, your profile will then be brought up for instant adding.

Users can also send a picture of their Snapcode to someone they wish to befriend and then upload it in the add friends section to find the user’s profile.
