What Giants, Jets might do at wide receiver in 2023 NFL Draft
The 2023 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 27 in Kansas City.
The Jets will head to town with six picks, including No. 13 overall, while the Giants have 10, beginning with No. 25.
The Post’s Paul Schwartz and Brian Costello look at what the two teams may do with their selections when it comes to wide receivers:
What Giants might do at wide receiver in 2023 NFL Draft
The Giants did some work this offseason to address the need to upgrade their receiving weapons for Daniel Jones.
The most eye-catching move, by far, was trading for tight end Darren Waller, but that only slightly mitigated the need for a No. 1 wide receiver.
The moves at receiver: The re-signings of Darius Slayton and Isaiah Hodgins to create continuity, giving Sterling Shepard (coming off injury, again) another shot, and bringing in free agents Parris Campbell and Jamison Crowder.
The Giants still could use an injection of talent, and the 25th-overall pick is a prime spot to find their guy. Quentin Johnston (TCU) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Ohio State) will likely be off the board.
What about Jordan Addison (USC) or Zay Flowers (Boston College)? It is unlikely all from that group will be gone.

What Jets might do at wide receiver in 2023 NFL Draft
General manager Joe Douglas has selected a wide receiver in the first or second round of each of his first three drafts with the Jets.
Denzel Mims, Elijah Moore and Garrett Wilson were all premium picks, but Wilson may be the only one still on the roster when the season begins.
With the arrival of free-agent signings Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman, wide receiver is not a top need, but the Jets could draft one in the middle or late rounds.
