‘What can I do?’ Lorraine Kelly says her husband felt helpless after she ‘lost herself’
Lorraine Kelly, 61, has been married to her husband Steve Smith for almost 30 years after they tied the knot back in 1992. However, the ITV host has admitted her husband felt helpless during her health battle as she went through menopause.
Speaking to the Mirror back in September, Lorraine admitted the impact it had on him.
She explained this happened after she started having symptoms back in 2013.
She said: “It was absolutely horrible. I completely lost myself.
“My husband didn’t know what was going on.

Lorraine’s husband Steve is a cameraman but tends to keep out of the spotlight.
Together, they have one daughter, Rosie, who has appeared with her mum on Celebrity Gogglebox.
The pair will both be appearing on James Martin’s Saturday Morning today.
They’ll be on alongside chefs Kenny Atkinson and Paul Rankin.
Lorraine and Rosie also host a podcast together called What If.
The ITV presenter recently opened up about a difficult conversation she had to have with her daughter.
This was after she moved back to the UK from Singapore.
Lorraine told The Sun: “I had to have a conversation I didn’t like having with her, which was to say, ‘Look, you’re not in Singapore anymore. You can’t walk home on your own.’”
“I’m not just talking about London.
“I’m talking about every major city in the UK. You do have to be careful.
“That was in a way quite a sad thing to have to do but absolutely vital, which is a great shame.”
