West Edge at Colliers Hill creates enticing enclave of ranch-style homes

Boulder Creek Neighborhoods is creating a new all ranch-style enclave on the western edge of Colliers Hill in Erie designed to appeal to empty nesters, soon-to-be empty nesters, and grandparents relocating to be closer to family.

“With all main floor living, these homes appeal to people who want to age in place,” says Donna Lu Gamberg, community business manager.

The new 53-home enclave offers buyers a rare opportunity to live in a new, lower-maintenance home in family-friendly, master-planned Colliers Hill, minutes from downtown Erie’s boutique shopping, fine dining, and nostalgic outdoor events.

Room to breathe

The ranch-style patio homes sit on oversize homesites and offer easy access to amenities, including a community center, swimming pools, parks, and trails.

The homesite sizes range from 8,600 to 15,000 square feet and provide front yards that will be landscaped and maintained, says Rebecca Lucero, community sales manager. But homeowners can choose how they use their backyards and whether to fence them.

“It’s a blank canvas for people who have a vision for how they want to use that space,” Lucero says.

Ridge and Peak series homes

Boulder Creek Neighborhoods is building two home collections at West Edge.

The Ridge series homes range from 1,600 to 3,200 square feet with options for two to three bedrooms, plus study or flex space. The homes, priced in the mid-$800s, feature two-car garages and offer the option of finished basements.
