West Bengal NEET PG stray vacancy 2023 choice filling begins today at wbmcc.nic.in, steps to fill choices – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC) is scheduled to begin the West Bengal NEET PG Stray Vacancy 2023 choice filling today, October 11, at 4 PM. The council will release the seat matrix and the list of selected candidates eligible for the West Bengal NEET PG Stray Vacancy Counselling 2023 and candidates will be able to check the same from the official website at wbmcc.nic.in.
As a one-time measure, the Supreme Court granted approval to the National Medical Commission’s request to extend the deadline for NEET PG 2023 admissions until October 10, 2023. However, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) reduced the NEET PG 2023 cut-off percentile for Postgraduate courses (Medical/ Dental) to ‘zero’ across all categories last month.
Hence, MCC, and various state counselling committees revised the counselling schedule for the third round of NEET PG 2023. Now the WB NEET PG stray vacancy 2023 seat allotment result will not be announced on October 16 and candidates who will be selected will be required to report to the allocated colleges between 11 AM on October 17 and 4 PM on October 19, 2023.
How to fill choices for West Bengal NEET PG Stray Vacancy 2023?
Step 1: Go to the official website at wbmcc.nic.in
Step 2: Candidates have to register themselves, and then have to log in using the credentials generated.
Step 3: After this, enter the registration number and password.
Step 4: Select the colleges and courses in the order of preference.
Step 5: Review the choices carefully and submit the form.
The MCC is set to close the choice locking option for NEET PG stray vacancies today. Candidates participating in the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling must also complete their choice filling before the last date. It shall be noted that the choices made in previous rounds will not be taken into account for the stray vacancy round.
WBMCC commenced the online registrations for the WB NEET PG stray vacancy round on September 30, 2023. Candidates who could not get a seat in the previous rounds of counselling were eligible to apply in this round for which the registrations were closed on October 9, 2023.
