The timepiece-choker emerges as a unique creation by Rihanna herself after an idea she had whilst preparing for the fashion event. “She came to Jacob & Co. with the concept, like she had many times before.” the brand said in a statement. Rihanna and Jacob Arabo, the founder of Jacob & Co., explored various options before she ultimately settled on this specific timepiece.
The pair decided on a 47mm 18-karat white gold brilliant flying tourbillon, fully set with 30 carats of baguette-cut white diamonds and another 338 brilliant-cut ones set onto the movement. A bespoke white calfskin strap stamped with an alligator-leather pattern was created for Rihanna to wear the piece around her neck.
Rihanna’s blinding neckpiece made its debut front row at the highly anticipated 2023 Louis Vuitton Fashion Show in Paris creating a monumental moment in fashion. Priced at $670,000 this timepiece is definitely a remarkable fashion statement.
