Water, Energy & Climate Change Conclave 2022 – Times of India
RAIPUR: A two days conclave on Water, Energy & Climate Change was organized at a private university on Thursday.
Governor Anusuiya Uikey said that a few years ago, the terms like climate change and environment protection were jargon for common people, but today every common person can feel the effects of climate change. Only giving lectures is not the solution. “We need to take concrete steps towards it and conclave like these will help aware common people and students to protect the environment for the future generation,” said the Governor.
Amity University and UNICEF Chhattisgarh jointly organised the conclave. Chancellor Dr W Selvamurthy was present on the occasion. Pro- vice chancellor Prof Dr Piyush Kant Pandey stressed on the climate protection measures of Chhattisgarh.
Focusing on the conclave agenda, Selvamurthy discussed the roadmap to implement the solution to the issue of water, energy, and climate change.
The Governor launched the National Level Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) App Development, Hackathon 2022. Supercharged with google technologies, the App will combat water issues and it will also guide us on the way to reserve water in more than 200+ cities in India.
