A mother has caught the adorable moment her four-year-old with autism told her she loves her for the very first time on camera.

Jenisse Palacios, 29, from Texas, USA, is mum to Julianna, who has a hard time interacting with people.

But she was able to shock her mum by uttering those three little words.

Stay-at-home mother Jenisse said: ‘Julianna is severely autistic and non-verbal. When she said “I love you”, I was so shocked.

‘I tell her I love her every day and hoped to one day hear it back. I think she knew I needed to hear it.

‘She also shows love by giving you her forehead. That means she’s allowing you to give her a kiss on her forehead.’

Jenisse’s clip went viral on TikTok, where it was watched by more than three million people.

Supportive comments from viewers who were also struck by the monumental moment have left Jenisse feeling ‘very emotional.’

‘Many people mentioned crying when seeing the video,’ said Jenisse. ‘Other people commented that I am a good mum.

‘That comment makes me feel very emotional because that is all I strive to be.’
