Watch: Sunil Gavaskar grooves to Naatu Naatu post RRR’s Oscars 2023 win

Naatu Naatu has been a sensation ever since SS Rajamouli’s RRR released but the track has taken over in an even bigger way after it bagged the Oscar for Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards. As the celebrations continue, a video of legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar dancing to the hit track has emerged.

Sunil Gavaskar who is a commentator at the ongoing test matches in Ahmedabad, took a break to celebrate RRR’s win for Naatu Naatu. The cricketer did the viral Naatu Naatu step and it’s the best thing you’ll see today.

Naatu Naatu’s Oscars 2023 win comes after the track bagged awards at the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards.

The track beat strong competition including  Applause from Tell It Like a Woman, Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick,  Lift Me Up  from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and This Is a Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once to win the honour. It was also performed at the Oscars ceremony by singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj.

Apart from RRR’s Naatu Naatu, another win for India was bagged by The Elephant Whisperers which is directed by Kartiki Gonsalves and produced by Guneet Monga.
