Footage shows a red Toyota Yaris behind a black taxi cab on the stretch of country road.

The driver of the vehicle then decides to overtake the taxi in front.

But there is a blind bend up ahead.

They pull out and try to overtake the taxi but appear to be struggling to get passed whilst on the other side of the carriageway.

As they approach the bend, a car comes around the corner and is heading towards the red Yaris.

The cars are just inches away from having a head-on collision as the driver in the oncoming black car swerves onto the grass which causes the cars behind to slam on the brakes.

The Toyota driver then squeezes through the small gap and returns to the correct side of the road.

And then goes down a small lane off the road after the horrifying near miss.

The video was posted on TikTok by @los_gatos420 and has has over 29,000 views.

The caption read: “Remember kids be careful when overtaking on a country road.”

One person commented: “Nothing to do with a country road.

“They were going too slow and pulled out too early whilst a corner was in the distance.”

Another said: “Clearly didn’t have the power necessary.”

While a third wrote: “Cut up the licence!”
