This season, Dhoni’s batting has been a pleasant surprise to many, as the CSK captain boasts a strike rate of 203 in the lower-order. In the last match played, Dhoni smashed 20 off just 9 balls after arriving in the 17th over of the game.

So, as Dhoni met Kuldeep, he put his hand on his head as a sign of affection before the duo shared a hug.

After conceding their seventh defeat of the season in 11 games, Delhi Capitals are likely to be knocked out of the race for playoffs. As per the IPL table, even if DC registers a win in its remaining three matches, it would reach the maximum of 14 points.
