For unknown reasons, two spectators started fighting during the WRC event in Croatia last Sunday, April 23.
Members of the public, with the help of two security guards, tried to separate both fans.
Unfortunately, the fight escalated quickly, and two people ended up lying on the ground in the middle of the rally course.
But security guards were eventually able to pull them away from the road encouraged the crowd to move further up a grass verge away from the road.
The video was published on Facebook by T4T World Rally Team and has had 172,000 views.
The description of the video reads: “Not this way at all! We have had a sad time in the past week’s rally.
“We got to respect all safety instructions on stage and most important thing our own personal behaviour in there!!
“Really, really dangerous moment in Rally Croatia today. Thank god no one was hurt!”
Most commenters say that their behaviour could have cost them their life.
One said: “Crazy behaviour. Someone could have been hurt or killed! Respect each other and the marshalling. The Marshalls are volunteering to keep you safe! Enjoy motorsports or lose it.”
Another said: “And we think it’s bad here. There’s no place for this sort of behaviour at any motorsport event.”
