HOLIDAYMAKERS have been filmed queueing up for sunbeds before 8am at a resort in Spain.
Every summer, hotels become the sites of frantic battles, as guests try to reserve the best loungers with their towels first thing in the morning.

Footage has already emerged of people marking their territory at a resort in Tenerife, that has left some people absolutely baffled.
Tiktoker Thomas Clifford (@thomaswclifford) captured the footage during his holiday and shared it online.
In the video, people are seen queueing up around the pool, before darting towards the best spots, to make sure they get their towels down.
The footage starts with a close-up of Thomas’ watch, revealing that the charge towards the sunbeds is taking place at 7.47am.
More than 2,000 people have seen the video since it was put online, with several people stunned by what they’d seen.
One wrote: “This isn’t a holiday.”
Another said: “Oh my god, hideous!”
In response to some comments, Thomas said that people were acting like snipers “by throwing their towels off the top of the stairs”.
He also said that some had been waiting for more than 25 minutes to get the best spots, and had even disrupted a pool cleaner.
He said: “Some of them were waiting there from 7.20!
“I felt sorry for the poor man trying to clean the pool as everyone stampeded him!”
Sunbed wars are extremely common throughout the summer months, but there are rules that should be followed.
Etiquette expert William Hanson revealed how long it’s okay to reserve a lounger for.
If you wait too long, it could be acceptable for someone else to remove your towel and take over the lounger.
He told the Mirror: “Reserving sun loungers with a towel for longer than 30 minutes is a big no-no, beyond that grace period it’s first come first served.”
However, there are some caveats to that 30 minute grace period.
For instance, if someone is actually using the pool, then the lounger is still theirs to use.
Another video shared on Tiktok by user Daxi sparked debate about which nations are the worst offenders when it comes to sunbed hogging.
A German commenter wrote: “I’m German and live in the U.K. On my last holiday to Greece it was the English that had the towels out before 6 am.”
Some hotels don’t allow holidaymakers to reserve sun loungers with towels.
Staff at a hotel in Tenerife were caught removing them after cheeky tourists had dumped their belongings and left.
Meanwhile, holidaymakers have even taken to reserving spots on the ground at some resorts.
And It is also always worth checking to see if the hotel has its own individual policy on reserving sun loungers.
