Excited about the upcoming From Software title Elden Ring? Me too and even more so after watching the new gameplay video. The latest video shows off around fifteen minutes of gameplay giving us a really good insight into what Elden Ring will have to offer.
The comparisons between Elden Ring and the other Souls game a clear here and fans of the series will not be disappointed. Whilst the influence is here, Elden Ring is a very different animal from previous releases.
One of the many changes is Elden Ring will take place in an open world which is a first for any Soulsbourne game. The world itself looks absolutely stunning and offers a much wider colour pallet than you might expect. To help you get around the world you will also have access to a mount that will allow you to zip around quickly, you will also be able to take part in mounted combat.
There is far too much to summarise here and to be honest, I’m not sure I can do it justice. What I will say is that you need to go and watch the video where you’ll get a decent look at various combat styles including magic, different bosses, mounted combat, meet some very interesting NPCs and get a good look at the open world itself.
I for one cannot wait for Elden Ring to be released next year!
