Wantaway Crows big man confirms Magpies chat
Adelaide big man Billy Frampton says he feels a move away from the Crows might be his best move, confirming that he’s had conversations with Collingwood and other clubs.
Frampton is currently out of contract and has been widely expected to seek a move to Collingwood this summer after struggling for game time at the Crows.
The 25-year-old joined the Crows from cross-town rivals Port Adelaide at the end of 2019, but has managed just 21 games in three seasons, including six in 2022.

”It’s a tough one,” he told 9News Adelaide of his decision.
“I wouldn’t mind sticking around, I love the boys and love the place, but for my career I think the best move might be to move on, so we’ll see how that plays out over the next couple of weeks.
“I reckon a fresh start sometimes is what you need, a new set of eyes and a new place and you get to work again.”
Frampton is one of a number of players who are expected to join Collingwood this summer, along with Brisbane’s Dan McStay and GWS Giants forward Bobby Hill.
Collingwood is understood to be open to trading All-Australian ruckman Brodie Grundy, who is on a lucrative $7 million deal, in the hope of facilitating the moves for the incoming trio.
