Probiotics-rich fermented foods have become more popular because of their claimed health benefits.

But, with the industry booming and hundreds of products on the market, it can be a bit daunting trying to find the best ones to buy.

Here we have a list of the more well-known fermented foods such as kefir (a thick yoghurt-like drink), kimchi (fermented vegetables, eaten as a side dish in Korean cuisine), and kombucha (a fermented cold tea, often flavoured).
