NEW DELHI: Vivo recently confirmed that it will launch the Vivo X70 series of smartphones in China on 9 September. The company will launch three smartphones under the series — Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro+ The company also shared a teaser image of the upcoming smartphone series and confirmed that the smartphone will house a leather-like back cover same as the one found in Vivo X60 Pro+. The new Vivo X series smartphone will feature a quad-rear camera setup which will also include a periscope lens. The rear camera will be accompanied by a triple LED flash.
Along with this, Vivo also revealed that the new Vivo X70 series of smartphones will house a Zeiss optics camera with T coating, and ZEISS VARIO TESSAR 1.57-3.4 aperture / 14-125 ASPH lens. The smartphone maker further confirmed that the Vivo X70 series will come with the company’s self-developed V1 image chip. This new chip promises to improve the image quality and will also enhance night video shooting capabilities. The company revealed that it has been working on the new chip for the past 24 months.
Now a new online report by Digital Chat Station reveals the complete specifications of the upcoming smartphones.
Vivo X70 and X70 Pro expected specifications
Both the smartphones are said to come with a 6.56-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2376 pixel resolution. The smartphones are expected to run an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity processor paired with 6GB/12GB of RAM.
The smartphones are said to come in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB. The duo is expected to run the Android 11 operating system. Vivo X70 is said to sport a triple rear camera with a 48MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide angle lens and 12MP portrait camera.
On the other hand, Vivo X70 Pro is also expected to house a quad rear camera with a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 12MP portrait camera and 8MP periscope camera.
Both the handsets are said to come with a 32MP selfie shooter.
The smartphones are said to pack a 4400mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
Vivo X70 Pro+ expected specifications
Vivo X70 Pro+ is said to run the Android 11 operating system and feature a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ camera with 1440×3200 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The handset is said to sport a quad-rear camera with a 50MP main sensor, 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 12MP portrait camera and 8MP periscope camera. The front is expected to house a 32MP selfie shooter. The Vivo X70 Pro+ is said to be backed by a 4500mAh battery with 55W fast charging support and 50W wireless charging support.
