Vishal Dixit appointed SVP and Country Head, Coforge

Pune: IT services provider Coforge said on Monday that it has appointed Vishal Dixit as Senior Vice President and Country Head of all verticals for Coforge. He will be responsible for growing India business for all verticals, with additional responsibility of building and growing Banking and Financial services business for Middle East and Africa market.

Prior to this, he was with Capgemini, and has worked with other technology companies like Wipro, HP (DXC) and IBM in the past. “My concentrated focus,” said Dixit, “will be on driving business growth through new age technology, including data analytics, cloud and digital, which is expected to grow between eight to ten per cent year-on-year for the next five years. Our emphasis will be on the BFSI vertical in India, the Middle-East, and Africa, and I keenly look forward to expanding opportunities for Coforge, while affecting real change for our clients and enhancing value for all our stakeholders.”

An MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies in Delhi, Vishal has experience in cultivating new territories and growing them. At Wipro Technologies, he was responsible for opening greenfield territories like Lebanon and Doha, while at Capgemini, his primary mandate was to grow the domestic BFSI business from scratch. Dixit led the sales and delivery of SBI Yono, India’s largest digital initiative during his tenure at IBM.
