Pop Culture Brain showed how the hack works, and it’s actually very easy and been around for a while.

The way genres are ordered on Netflix is often a bugbear for viewers, but secret genre codes could spell the end of your woes.

“Did you know Netflix has hundreds of secret genre codes?” they tell followers.

So for example, if you fancy a food show, put in 72436.

For musicals and music-related shows, type 13335.

If you’re more of a sci-fi buff, try 1372.

The possibilities are endless.

There’s a full list you can try below.

It’s worth noting, the secret genre codes vary from country-to-country, so they may not always work for you.

Plus, Netflix changes them up on occasion as well, but for the most part, they’re a handy shortcut to your telly dreams.

So have a play around and see which ones deliver for you.
