Vengaboys star Robin Pors shared a bizarre behind-the-scenes moment from a music video shoot and revealed he was ‘assaulted’ by a ‘horny’ dolphin.

The Eurodance music group member, 45, admitted he was dealing with the uncommon encounter by brushing it off as a ‘compliment’.

Robin shared his experience after he was questioned about the incident during a recent interview and explained the details of his time with the dolphin.

‘The dolphin, yes that’s my story, yes I had an encounter with a dolphin,’ he told The Daily Star.

His bandmate Kim Sasabone touched on the encounter in the past and revealed: ‘There are some inappropriate things that have happened.

‘Robin, while shooting a music video on a tropical island in the Caribbean was sexually assaulted by dolphins. Very horny dolphins.’

The member of the Dutch entertainment troupe was referring to the filming of their video for the track Hot Hot Hot in 2013 when he spilled: ‘I had to float into the water and I arrived on the tropical island and then my phone rings and I’m waking up and be like “Where am I?”

‘And I had to be in the water to do the scene, but one was like harassing me and I had to get out of the water and I was not amused, I didn’t know what was going on.

‘I can tell you if you’re in the ocean with the dolphins and think “That’s cute” and then you feel how strong they are and they’re pushing you and doing strange things, it’s weird, but I’ll have to take it as a compliment.’

Famed for much-loved 90s tracks like We’re Going to Ibiza, the star’s comments came after the band announced their return to the UK stage ahead of their 25th anniversary.

The new and improved iconic group will see female vocalists Kim Sasabone and Denise Post-Van Rijswijk join male vocalists Robin Pors and Donny Latupeirissa to make up the quartet – which used to include Roy den Burger.

On Sunday they updated their social media account with a video tribute to Scottish audiences that watched them perform in Glasgow over the weekend.
